Economical significance of natural resources and resource use

Payments for the utilization of natural resources constitute a negligible part of the regional and local budgets in the Ladoga Lake area at large (tab. 7.10.1.). The main components in the parts of the Ladoga Lake region are payments for the land and forest-related incomes (tab. 7.10.2.). The per cent of the payments in Karelia is much higher than in the Leningrad region. As the natural resource utilization rates have been growing lately the per cent of the payments in the budgets of different levels is also growing continuously.
